The workshop is focusing on integrating STEM and TPACK in learning design. TPACK is a theory about teachers' knowledge that encompasses pedagogical knowledge (PK), content knowledge (CK), and technological knowledge (TK). This set of knowledge helps teachers to teach a subject effectively with the aid of technology. The learning design was conducted by integrating TPACK framework with principles of Science Technology Engineering Mathematics or STEM. This workshop helps teachers build their understanding and upgrade their skills in using STEM-TPACK framework for design the meaningful learning experiences. The workshop was conducted by Professor Chai Ching Sing at the Chinese university of Hong Kong. The learning hour is calculated as 40 minutes for 1 learning our.
On this occasion, we were taught to create a website using Google Site. The interesting thing was that this activity is carried out in collaboration with lecturers from other universities in Indonesia.
